Allow grouping/organizing saved tabs into categories
It would be great if the user can group/organize tabs into different groups (or folders) on save. It would be even better if they can be rearranged using drag & drop.

Until we implement real tagging, I use notes which allow some organizing since you can search the contents of notes. I use ctrl-shift-a to add a tab, then I enter notes including keywords. Then I use ctrl-shift-f and then type the keyword and it only shows tabs that I’ve saved with those keywords.

syncing my taboos between my computers
Allow me to share my taboos between my computers. Uploading the images and the tab state so I can restore it on another computer.

Arrange tabs by drag-and-drop
Arrange the order of tab thumbnails with drag-and-drop, and possibly by tags if tagging is enabled.

we are investigating how to do this because firefox disables catching the middle click. we have ideas how to do such, but they involve a redirect. In the mean time you can ctrl-click to open in a new tab.

Update Taboo for Firefox 4
Taboo is a must. I'm having withdrawal symptoms after upgrading to Firefox 4 without my beloved Taboo.

Sorting taboos by name/date/site/last visited
In the different views (grid, details), adding the possibility to sort taboos. (by name, date of entry, date of the last visit, site name with one of the others rules)

Save Taboos to a Bookmarks Folder: Feed 3 birds with 1 scone
Instead of using its own datastore, Taboo could save tabs to a unique Taboo Bookmarks folder.
I think this would help solve the three biggest problems:
1. Allow grouping and organizing tabs into categories:
You could just use Firefox's builtin tagging features, access tabs through the URL bar as usual and add/edit tags at through the common interface.
2. Syncing my taboos between my computers
Users could use a separate extension like Foxmarks to take care of the syncing. This way the Taboo developers could concentrate on Taboo instead of developing their own syncing backend, which is a hard enough… more203 votes -

improve thumbnail quality
right now the image quality of the thumbnails is quite low due to mozilla's settings. Perhaps there is a workaround that gives better quality?

Show taboos with About:Blank as a reminder
There's another extension (fast dial) that shows some preset website thumbnails whenever the About:Blank is displayed, for example when a new tab is created. If Taboo could show the list of saved web pages automatically similar to this, it could be an unintrusive and convenient reminder of the web pages saved to check out later on. As it is, we have to click on the T to see the list, which is fine but easily forgotten.

Add priopities to taboos
Some taboos are more important than others. We could allocate to them priorities (a number of stars, a cote, ...). Then taboos could be sorted following their priority.

Add contextual menu item
Add a "taboo this tab" item in the right-click menu for tabs. A "taboo and close tab" item would be great as well.

Auto backup of taboo
Would be nice to have an auto backup of taboo incase you have a future glitch that would allow you to role back to previoius ver of taboo.

pages from the same website to be grouped together
Pages which have been tabooed from the same website should be grouped together & stored as one session
